I had heard the name Tamarind and imagined a tree that would be enormous. It was great to have detailed information about this tree and assurances it could be grown indoors.
I had not planned on getting a Tamarind, to be honest I was just looking for something different. This was an accidental find which prompted me to do some googling. I had not been aware that this species had so many medicinal uses, not that I will be trying them. It is, however, an interesting talking point. All I have to do now is make sure I go into conservatory after sunset. I am told the leaves fold at night. If this is the case, another talking point.
